MONITOR
The "monitor" tab is a visual display of the 4 track output system,
that displays the images, effects and colors of each track ,
the mouse can be put into any one of the 4 windows to control
"real-time" rotation or position effects. Each track can be
individually selected or deselected, additional effects can be
applied to the "active" tracks, this allows the output to be
flexible by manipulation of 4 layers .
TRANSITIONS
The "cue to cue" transition control includes standard morph,
cross cut , fades, zooms etc, create and program custom transition
effects. The transition duration is set by slider and can
apply any duration selected. Each cue can also have its own
transition.
PLAYING SPEEDS
5 speed sliders in the "playing speed" tab control each
monitor window, move the sliders to suit the desired speed for
animations, effect, key effect and color scrolling. Each slider can
also have a multiplication applied to its maximum speed to achieve
faster or slower speeds.
The master ,overrides all
sliders.
SIZE, SCAN RATE AND BRIGHTNESS
Control the overall parameters of the output size, scan rate and
brightness. The X and Y size sliders can be locked together, or
unlocked to allow individual axis's to be adjusted, the scan
rate slider can also be set to any maximum percentage.
POSITION AND ROTATION
The position grid controls the position of the track that is
selected, right click on the grid and it doubles in size for
more accuracy Rotation dials allow adjustment of the rotation
"angle" or "speed" of the track selected.
COLOR WHEEL AND SLIDERS
The color wheel gives quick access to the desired color and intensity,
the slider, for fading between the selected color and the
frames initial color or color scrolling effect!
COLOR EDITOR
The color editor enables fixed colors, full frame color changes,
multiple colors, gradient color fading and multiple
layers of each to be applied at once, Called "brushes". The
width of each brush can be altered to suit the desired effect.
BEAM & TTL CHASES
Live chases can be programmed to output any sequence of beam or TTL
chases and the speed adjusted in real time .
AUDIO EFFECTS
The live audio control utilizes audio signals to effect the size,
position or brightness of the output.
CUES
The cue grid is made up of 12 cues by 8 rows per page, 9
pages in 2 sets, creates a total of 1728 available cues!
Each cue can have any or all of the 4 assignments, an image, an
effect, a key effect and a color scrolling effect. 2 effects,
creates double layering, With these 4 options implemented colors and
simple effects can be layered onto any image
Cues also have 2 extra options, TTL flash or static and/or
flash or static beam .
LIVE AUDIO FUNCTIONS
3 levels of audio triggering; Manual, Audio and Timer.
| Manual |
Tap in the
beat, required via the keyboard |
| Audio |
Audio File (
CD, MP3) or audio input signal to control the cues |
| Timer |
Tap in
the audio beat , the system , will then average the taps
to generate a BPM rate that the system will lock to. |
:
ASSIGNING CUES TO BEAT DETECTION
A cue has 2 states, beat active and beat inactive , there are 2
beat detection levels per cue, beat active/inactive for the
frame animation, and beat active / inactive for the key effect.
"JUMP TO" AUDIO TRIGGERING
The software runs the laser ! All four tracks can be set to
jump at preprogrammed beat intervals.
KEY EFFECTS EDITOR
This editor is VERY powerful including 3 dimensional effects ,
powerful tools can be applied to each effect, including
interpolation levels and accelerate and decelerate.
EFFECT EDITOR
When effects are layered onto key effects the output becomes a
constantly changing value.
LIVE TEXT
Control scrolling speeds, colors and font styles in real-time.
KEY WORD, ANIMATED AND SCROLLING
3 "animated" text editors
"Key word",
"Animated",
"Scrolling text".
TRANSITION EDITOR
Create and implement custom transitions
MIDI TRIGGERING
MIDI input/output, run from a MIDI triggering device or MIDI
keyboard.
RECORDING
A recorder to record the desired cue sequences, and live control
movements .
NETWORK CAPABILITIES
Via a network control and synchronize
